FAQ

Frequently
asked questions

01.

Which data can SmART-Contour automatically delineate?

keyboard_arrow_down

SmART-Contour was designed to contour left and right lungs, heart, bones, and brain in CTs of live, healthy mice. These mice will be segmented without any problems. Performance can in some cases deteriorate when using a strong contrast-enhancing fluid, or when using mice with abnormalities in one of the SmART-Contour organs. Please reach out to us if you want to know more.

02.

Will more organs be added in the future?

keyboard_arrow_down

Yes, more organs will be added in the future. SmART-Contour is under constant development, and thus improving with time. Updates and improvements are included in new versions of our image-guided irradiation planning systems to enhance performance and functionality over time.

03.

Will SmART-Contour run without a  dedicated GPU?

keyboard_arrow_down

A dedicated GPU with CUDA capabilities 6.2 or higher and at least 8 GB of memory is recommended for optimal performance. If a GPU is not available, SmART-Contour will automatically run on the CPU, producing the same accurate contours, though the processing time may be longer.
